Mike your one of my fav vocialists and guitarists, Thanks for the picture.
Joie, Your 69 Charger Shirt was cool, my brother comented on it.
In all, the concert at the arcada theater was awsome, little different scene with all the seats but Great show and atmosphere.

I think the setlist was the same as the Park West...they may have mixed it up a bit...not sure. Can anyone confirm?
Pictures were taken, and I'll try and scan them in and post them when they're developed.

But if you didn't get to the theatre when the doors opened, you totally missed probably THE BEST performance of the night: the organist! This was an older guy, i'd say mid 50's at least, wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt, belting out classic rock tunes on the theatre's organ. He played for close to an hour before Randell came on, but before he dissapeared under the stage for good, he came back up for en encore! Aside from Dada, he got the best applause.

the set list. Especially opening with Dim. The Arcada was a really cool venue. I loved the show, and can't wait to see them live again. West Michigan would love a tour stop. We have a nice place in Kalamazoo, the State Theatre. It's similar to the Arcada. Peace.
As Mike said "the best stories are the true ones"

Mike, Phil, and Joie-- thank you again for the performance & hanging out after the show. We all appreciate it immensely.
time is a wish,
you can throw coins at a fish,
but you're still gonna have to feed it.....

I took my brother to the show and he said one word - "incredible". He only knew a couple of songs, but was floored by the talent of Michael's guitar play, Joie's voice and Phil's drums. I am going to try to see them again on June 22nd in Chicago.
One song that stood out in concert was "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow". I never got into that song much when listening to the CD, but I couldn't believe how great it was live. Overall, I can't say enough about this show.

Need a bit of help... Just want to thank the many of you have written to me with well wishes about finding pics and that video from the grassy knoll (lol). I hope one of our newbies can help me out.
The owner of the Arcada is looking for pics for his website and a copy of that tape~ because he didn't get to tape and would really love a copy of it! Please, if ya got pics or that tape, give me a message off the board and I'll be happy to trade and share any stuff that I have with ya.

I have seen a lot of bands live. Very famous bands. None of them impressed me the way that these guys did. The guitar, bass, and drum playing were perfect and the vocals incredible. They have an big sound for just three guys and with the complexity of some of their recordings, I didn't think they could pull it off live. Boy, was I wrong!
I am convinced that the Record industry is a huge joke in this country when a band with this talent is not a major player.
Keep touring and recording, guys. The word is spreading faster than you think.
