Holy shit! They were so f'n good last night!!!! I stood right in front of Mike for the entire show. I probably lost several decibels off several frequencies in the hearing spectrum and I just don't care! My face hurts from the ear to ear grin I had all night. So happy to see them again and they were obviously happy to be there as well. Good crowd, great band, amazing show! 2.5 hours of dada. Gurley is not from this world. He let my buddy's girlfriend jam on his whammy bar at the very end of Dorina to close the show. He invited us to stay to talk and get things signed and we did. In bed at 3 and up at 7 and if they were playing aywhere around Boston tonight I'd be there again!

I was at the corner of the stage near Mike also.. WHAT A SHOW! i was totally floored! And the BEST part is the guys are SOOO nice, great to chat with, i have seen piddly little local bands who wont even give the fans the time of day!
When i complimented Joie Mike and Phil on the show they were very hubmle and appreciative.. GOSH THAT IS SO GREAT
So again i ask? Why are there bands out there with SOOO much less talent and class making the big bucks and playing the big venues, when dada SHOULD BE!
My buddy told Joie that dada is "The greatest band that no-one has heard of" He got a kick out of that!

Awesome show, as usual. Not NorVa awesome, but excellent nonetheless.
They stuck to the core setlist, and omitted "boogie fever" from the encore.
I tried to get there early for soundcheck so I could attempt to mention "kiss hollywood goodbye" for uncle irving, but due to some awful directions and traffic, I arrived a bit too late. They were leaving the building to go out and eat (I think) just as I arrived and I didn't really want to bother them at that point. oh well.
They had one request the entire night, and there can be no confusion this time. I was most definitely that guy who yelled "who you are". I was so fast out of the gate I dont think Phil even had finished the word "request" yet
but he was all like.. "who you are, ok, let's go!" and they did. It's improved lot since Virginia. They got down the best part (end of solo), and I was happy
We also attempted to get them to play "disco girl" during the encore, but no-go. ah well.
on the plus side, due to the small crowd I had no trouble at all getting right up front. Warning: dorky fan-boy moment ahead: I even got to touch Joie's bass (no, not a fish) at the very end of "Dorina"
At any rate, it was a super show, as always. I chatted with Eric for a few minutes and was looking for some other board members, but I soon realized I had no clue what y'all looked like. Oh well. maybe next time.
Stayed afterwards and got Joie to sign "clean my bass" (yes, the fish) on my Holiday single (I think he thinks we're clinically insane at this point) and got pictures with all of the guys.
I'm probably missing some more details, but they can be filled in at a later point. SO glad I took today off from work. It seems like I haven't slept at all since Norfolk.
Later!

The Harper's Ferry show was beyond words! I had Mike and Joie sign my copy of Louis and Clark's Hollywood Capacity Maximum before the show. I stood with Eric Arena and friends right in front of Mike. I got his setlist after the show too! Two and a half hours, 20 great songs. Dada could not have been better.
Here is what they played:
Dim
Playboy
Surround
Trip
Feet
Here
chorus of Never My Love, by the Association
Sick in Santorini
Heaven
Ask
Request - Who You Are
Feel me
Info Undertow
Moon
Posters
DizzKnee
Bob
Baby Really loves me
Cali Dreamin'
and ended off with Dorina

I was there with the Mrs. We got to see the guys at soundcheck do Playboy and Baby Loves.Joie told me the new cd is DONE! Mike and I talked about hand pain from playing. My wife got Joie and Mike to sign our puzzle CD cover. Phil was busy tuning his kit. His roadie left 2 of his drum cases out in front of Mike ALL NIGHT!
I got Phil sign it after the show. Once again the band was awesome and I took a buttload of pictures. I got one with my wife and Joie. Those guys are really great to their fans and deserve so much more..
I just hope there is a next time.

Hey I was at that show too... hey I was standing right next to you!
What an awesome frickin' show! We played a couple of songs in our band (DIM and Dizz Knee Land), and I really didn't know much else. Now, I have all their CD's and the Norva show and I'm hooked!!
Can't wait to see them again on Oct.5 in Hartford.
