The guys played for 90, it went like a flash but will remembered for a lifetime. They would have played all night, they were so into the crowd and the sound was clear, clean and balanced.
We are so fortunate to see DADA in such intimate settings and then to mix with the geniuses afterwards. I feel real lucky but know its unfair their not the monsters they should be. To think they would have ever to get off stage and cut the encore to one because they had to make room for another band, kind of a joke.
Thanks again for a memorable night.

I had the most fun at a show I've ever had. So much fun in fact, that I didn't jot down a setlist, so if anyone did, it would be most appreciated if you could post it here.
It's great seeing a dada show in general, but I ended up seeing it with a friend of mine that I had no idea was a dada fan till a few days before the gig. And to top it off she's a completely beautiful woman who's wonderful to be around. So there I was basking in the glow of an excellent dada show, in an excellent venue, in my back yard, with a gorgeous girlie at my side and a jack n' coke in my hand. It really doesn't get much better than that.
Plus I found a parking spot in front of my apartment that afternoon.
And I spent the rest of the night sitting on some stoop on the L.E.S. with my dada girl just chilling... and breaking out into the chorus of "trip with my dad" every few minutes. Ahhhhh.
So forgive the missing setlist.

Too bad they had to cut out so many from the setlist, but an awesome show anyway. I was actually up againt the stage on the left hand side and could have reached out and touched Joie if I wanted. My ears are still ringing. That was 2 shows in 2 night for me (New Hope was great too), and I am contemplating going to Princeton tonight.

Lance, it sounds like you had the ultimate day all around! I was looking for you at the show to give you a cd of over 150 photos from the norfolk show, so if you could get in touch with me, that'd be great. I think you could get some use out of these for the website.... some came out extremely awesome (and you have plenty to pick and choose the best from).

The Mercury was superlative in every way. As a fan, incredible. Contrary to most of what's been said about this tour, this was the shortest dada show I've seen, but the performance defies definition, as does the comraderie the band had with their fans afterwards. In our hearts, we knew they would have played all night!!
I had the BEST time meeting my fellow dadaphiles. Had a blast with you guys. Wished I had more stickers.
To my buddies from Holmdel, u2u me please. I'd love to get a copy of the pic of Joie drawing on my shirt.
dada definitely rules
