I'll leave it up to somebody else to review this sucker play by play, because I already threw a review up last week from the Iota show.

Home safe and sound sans voice (and normal hearing) from yet another mind-blowing dada show and am uberthankful they went back on the road, don't know what else to say. Damn... I was unencumbered (no camera) this time around and got to suck it all up, right at Mike's feet this time (last week I was Joie side), and am blissfully exhausted. Not as intimate as last weekend's show, but more dense... got to hear all the little extras other shows gave everybody (Mary Sunshine Rain, dammit!... if you were there, you know what I shouted -- they kicked ASS on that tune) and again got to chat with the guys; feeling quite content and complete at the moment.

Holy shit, I'll never understand why the venues have so much breathing room at their shows, NEVER. Think twelve people deep and then drop it off... WTF??? They deserve SO much more than that. But I love the unity of these shows, all of us obsessed with every little note and lyric. Great to meet some of you B'more fans, (thanks, Mr. "I have extra cotton if you need it)!

After two shows I've been sated. Mike winced when I asked them to do "Dog," so I guess I was stretching it a bit. They did nothing that would surprise anybody who's caught a show or two in the past few weeks. From what I've read, we got all of it tonight, and I'm glad I didn't settle for just one show. I really feel for you folks who haven't gotten the chance to revel in this... I hope they're back on the road soon.

Somebody review it! It was beautiful.

ABSOLUT DADA.

I do hope that for you. Seriously! I know so many people across the States who are dying for a dada show and I've felt lucky whenever dada has crossed the mighty Mississip... always seemed to me to be such a Western hemisphere band -- akin to Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers (formerly Refreshments), whose East coast appearances are such a surprise. Everyone should have a chance to suck up dada live... cool things happen.

I have committed to a West coast appearance of dada as soon as they're back on the road... totally worth the trip -- not necessarily with my dad.

I saw the two brew pub shows,(thanx Matt)and decided to drive the two hours to Towson,Md.Boy I'm glad I did>The brew pubs were great. No stage great to see the guy's face to face, but nothings better than guitar to face and them being on stage they had more room and could spread out better(was really tight in Princeton)the sound was much better too,no feedback and could hear their harmony's better. Each show though was special. They improvise so much that each show was different.I yelled something that Mike said on Sat.(Were all young and sexy)and he responded.I also heard Joie say let's do that thing we did the other night to Mike and I yelled ought "Do some Petula Clark"(of course I knew)and Mike said "a request for Petula Clark we always do requests for Petula Clark".It was so cool I felt like I was part of the show. But thats just the way these guy make everybody feel it seems.Got a drum stick from Phill(and guitar pick from Mike on Thurs.Stayed and talked with the guys got their autographs, talked with the tour manager didn't want to leave, told the tour manager and Phill that I would go home with them and be their personal assistant and we laughed. We also laughed about New Hope's reputation, they didn't know and I'm not going to say hear(don't want to offend anybody)The night was magic!!!!!!!!!After seeing them 3 out of 4 nights in a row I'm now going through Dada withdraw.I really miss them. They told me they would never dissapear again.Thank God!:(:D:(:D:(:D:(:D

Right on!!!! I hear you on the withdrawals. So so so glad I went for a second shot, because it was nice to hear all the covers I'd read about (sorry, Boogie Fever was just great/silly, what a wild choice).

Have to agree on being level with the guitars (seemed everybody else had earplugs except for me and my friend, ouch)--and the bigger stage. The Iota stage is soooo tiny, even though I love the intimacy there. Nice for them to be able to move. Greater still to be able to watch it. Wish I had another show to look forward to this weekend.
