I don't remember the setlist. I remember:

Dim
Feet to the Sun
Ask The dust
Bob the drummer
trip with my dad
surround (i think)
posters
here today gone tommorow
whatever happened to steven? (new stuff)
Feel me, don' t you

I know there was more stuff but I can hardly remember. How do you people remember set list like that, it's amazing to me. The new song "whatever happened to steven" (or something like that), was just killer. If that's any indication of what we can expect from the new stuff, we're all in for a treat. Gurley was getting off hardcore, grabbing my buddy beachedmessiah's beer bottle to use for a slide during one song (can't remember which one). Phil was an absolute mad man. I've never seen him play like that before. It was a REAL small place. But it was still very cool. Only one dissapointment, no "Dorina". But I think that was because it normally comes at the very end of the show and Gurley tweeked his arm pretty bad. He was asking the beachedmessiah and I to "pray for me man, I can't move my arm" But we all know the Galtman don't be doing no praying. It sounds like he's alright though from reviews of post-Rockford shows. Anyways, great show, good venue. Wouldn't hesitate to see them at the Kryptonite again. Oh yeah, Harmony Riley was excellent. Those guys are really frickin'good. Remind me of Zeppelin and the Black Crowes.

The Show was everything you can expect from the dadinians. I got great Video footage to add to the Collection. Thanks to Mark & the Boys @ Kryptonite and to all the Band & Mgmnt.

I will get the exact setlist shortly.

A couple of surprises SCUM was with audience participation to remind Mike the Lyrics but it turned out quite excellent on the replay of the video.

the show is kind of a blur,as it was my birthday and the rolling rocks seemed to appear every time i put one down. the highlight, at least for me, was during the end of a song Gurley grabbed my rolling rock and did a little slide action. i took it as a sign and now the bottle has been cut into a slide for further cheap thrills. another highlight was GOGO. in 4 shows that's the first time i've heard it. the only disappointment was the merchandise didn't seem to be selling well. i think it criminal such genius goes unnoticed by the masses, and meagerly compensated as well. on a positive note, i tried in my drunken stupor to convince the boys when they're in Dallas to stop at the Arlington guitar show. i'm going to hang flyers at the booth i'll be working and hopefully some people will turn up/on. looking forward to more dada!

The show was a wee bit shorter than the last time they played Rockford…at least from what I remember. But hey, it still ROCKED and they gave it their all! I did NOT walk away disappointed…I never do.

“Moon” was definitely on the set list…out of the five shows I’ve been to I don’t think I’ve ever heard Joie put as much feeling into a song as I did that nite! AWESOME MAN!!

I totally agree as to skin man Phil’s drumming! Talk about kicking some MAJOR butt!!

What? A Rolling Rock slide! Damn! I can’t believe I missed that! I have this habit of closing my eyes when I really start to get into the music…I’ve got to stop that I miss too much! Michael, I’m praying for you.

I had an absolutely awesome time! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The boyz have got to keep Kryptonite on their venue list! Looking forward to the next time. You can bet I’ll be there!

Hey, did I meet you in Rockford Arlo? Great show. First time ever in Chicago the night before. I'd go again. My personal favourite memory of this show was the rag-tag "what the fuck are the words" version of "Scum". That was good stuff. Oh, and beachedmessiah almost tore MG's arm off in exitement. Oh, and I saved beachedmessiah's life that night. You're welcome.

I was there too and started the Scum chant!!!!
Lester Burnham: When I was your age, I flipped burgers all summer just to be able to buy an eight-track.
Ricky Fitts: That sucks.
Lester Burnham: No, actually it was great. All I did was party and get laid. I had my whole life ahead of me.

That was you?!! So you're the guy who knew the words. I thought I knew the words but everytime I said something you'd say the right words from stage left. That was probably the single best dada show I've ever been too. I had a great seat too. First row sandwiched between the bar and the stage. I never had to move.

Kiddo that was you sandwiched between the bar and the stage? I was right in front of Joie. A couple of times I had my beers passed from the bar to me because I didn't want to move... could you have been one of those beer passers?

Just watched a dvd of the Rockford Show. I'm an ass!!! I'm the guy yelling, "Exactly what did happen to Steven?" Beachedmessiah is in some sort of trance, but I think I do recognize a few boarders. Dude with the cell/video phone who is front row center the entire show. I can't see twang, but I can hear him back there screaming for Scum!! That Scum thing was awesome. Got me itching to see another show even more!!!

i was at one with the music. i had also passed my limit, cuz when the music stopped i was slapped in the face with the gravity of my intoxication. i was amazed the music kept me going. w/o johngalt i'd have been a heap of shit on the sidewalk. he even showed he cares by rolling me out of the pile of puke i was trapped in.
