Friday night's show at the HOB Las Vegas was awesome!!!!! This was my first live dada show after listening to thier cd's for the last 10 years. I was blown away. Considering the amount of layering they do in the studio to get such a great sound, I was REALLY impressed at how well thier live show comes off with just the three of them. So what was I most impressed with: Phil and Joie's rhythm section, Joie and Michael's (and Phil's) awesome vocals and of course Michael's superb guitar work (I am a guitar player after all).

After the show, the guys came out to the bar to say hi to the fans that stuck around. I was lucky enough to get to meet them. Here are a couple of pictures.

The guys rocked in Las Vegas. It was my 11th anniversary and we happened to be in HOB on Thursday and saw DADA scroll on their TV as being at HOB on 3/14. Couldn't believe it. My favorite band - on my anniversary no less - plus hadn't heard they were back together. Can't wait to see when they're coming to Dallas. Haven't missed a show yet. Could not be happier to see them together again. If starting off my 11th year of marriage seeing DADA is any indication of this year of marriage, it's going to be a great one. Thanks for the pics (and I remember you and your better half - we sat beside you until they started playing, then never sat down again). Loved being with true DADA fans for a few hours. The joy in the room was amazing.

kellypie - yeah, I remember you and your better half next to us as well. What a show. We never sat down either, rocked and sang along the whole show. My wife and I celebrate our 25th in June, hopefully in Hawaii, wouldn't it be cool if had the chance to see them during that trip over there (dream on skip). We went to Las Vegas just to see the show. My wife was not a fan before the show, but she is now. She won't return my Puzzle CD :D

I know that Denver has multiple small venues that dada would be great in (bluebird, ogden) and Boulder has two or three (boulder theatre, fox). Ft.collins has two (Aggie, Starlight)...so BCEG, get on it!
