I was fortunate enough to get one of the set lists, so I thought I'd share it with everyone who has either seen past shows, or is seeing them coming up. As far as the show went, I'd guess there were about 150 people. I was standing up front, so if anyone there has a better count, please speak up, as I was looking forward and not back. The stage was outside, yet completely covered, and lots of room, so people were scattered about. Anyways, to the music. Awesome set, lots of energy and lots of crowd response, which hopefully will bring them back through Austin again. They played about 90 minutes - always wish for more, but I saw them in Dallas, which they played a long set, so I got two nights worth. Phil did a great intro to Trip With My Dad, telling everyone about his acid trip with his dad in the Vegas mountains - which then Michael reminded him that there are no mountains in Vegas. Everyone sort of cracked up, especially when Phil said that brought a whole new perspective to it. I had 7 people come out with me, and everyone was very impressed. Ok, on to the set list:
Dim
Playboy in Outerspace
Surround
Trip With My Dad
Feet To The Sun
Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Heaven and Nowhere
Ask the Dust
It's All Mine (new one, on set list, but not played)
Feel Me, Don't You
Posters
Dizz Knee Land
Baby Really Loves Me
Bob the Drummer
Dorina
I was at the Dallas show, and I'm trying to get that set list together, as there was about 4 or 5 other songs played, so look for that unless someone beats me to the punch. Anyone at the Dallas set know what the Monkees song was???

Aw man, they played a Monkees song in Dallas? No FAIR! Dallas is so lucky.
The Austin show was WILD. That place was packed. I honestly had no idea there were so many dada fans in this town. My wife and I were right up front; Michael was kicking ass two feet in front of us. All the years of waiting to see these guys was so worth it.

I noticed right after I posted my review of the Austin show that there was a separate "On The Road" section for concert reviews. Oh well - I'll know next time, and hopefully that will be soon.
If I had one "criticism" of the show, it would be that I would rather hear more songs than extended jam versions of others. I know the guys do this to break the monotony of playing the same songs over and over, and that's fine. (Another one of my favorite bands, King's X, does this quite a bit, way more than dada.) I would just like to have also heard:
Sweet Dark Angel
Where You're Going
Time Is Your Friend
I Get High
Mary Sunshine
Heck, I could go on and on here. Still one of the best shows I've seen in 2003, no question. Hope the November 15 Cheap Trick show is as good.

Man I really enjoyed the show. And once again the guys were so nice and accomidating to the fans. They always take time after the show to mingle with us and I really appreciate it. Thanks again for a terrific show.
