Yes, there was this crazed, obnoxious bald man (Cajun - I doubt it!) that stood in front of the stage all night, whooping it up before, during and after all the songs and high-fiving everyone around him in his drunken delight. The band couldn't ignore him - (Michael threw him a pick - it didn't stop him)
One girl next to him, who had requested "Mary Sunshine Rain" during the song ran her hands up and down Joie and Michael's pant legs - the guys didn't seem to mind.
The setlist was the same as all other shows posted with one exception - we got only a two-song encore (missed "Baby Really Loves Me") probably due to the show's unfortunate small turn-out. My standouts were "Feet to the Sun", "Ask the Dust" and Heaven in Nowhere" and all the outstanding vocal harmonies and excellent guitarwork.
Disappointments would be: the Joie vocal/ bass-only opening to the new song "It's All Mine" - until Gurley came back it bored me. And the empty room - a small audience is OK in a small room, but when you have lots of empty space it definitely has an impact on the "feel" of a show.
But make no mistake, this is a GREAT band - very creative, versatile and tight. They deliver the goods and more.....
Don't miss them next time around!

That is the same way they played "it's all mine" in Dallas, except Phil was accompanying Joie with drums and backup vocals. Then about half way thru Michael came back and joined them.
Too bad about that drunk. If I was recording that show (much less just watching it), I would have asked the management to move him. I know he was having fun and not realizing how obnoxious he was being, but that would have gotten on my nerves real quick.

mike didn't play at all on the song in columbus. I didn't even realize it was a new tune til joie started singing...I thought him and phil were just grooving. even without mike (he sang some toward the end, but no guitar at all) I thought it was a cool tune and I can't wait to hear the actual recorded version

I used to live in New Orleans, too, and the Wolf is my favorite club there. Sorry I missed it. Is Willis still the sound guy?

Yeah, that was definitely no hands on but a squeeze if I ever saw one! Wonder if the imprint is still on Mike's pants?
...I'm ready to grow and move on... life is just to short to waste

That's the obnoxious bald guy in the last picture on the
www.mikeperrymedia.com/xib/dada/ photo page.
He's the guy in front pointing....
Good shot of the "Sunshine" girl grabbing thighs!
For all you guitar players who want to know about Michael's gear, here's what I could see:
Guitars: American Standard Fender Strat maple neck; second Strat (rosewood board and humbucker in bridge) tuned to open E used for one song.
Amps: Two - Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier heads w/ 4-12 cabinet. Looked like a Mesa Mark I combo next to it - (either back up or in the loop) - both were miked.
Effects: Boss Chorus, Boss Compressor, Boss Tremolo, Vintage wah-wah pedal, Uni-vibe
Picks: Dunlop Tortex (orange) medium, .60mm (got one!)
Strings: Light guage (read this in article - due to carpal tunnel problem)
All combines for some really tasty tone!
